I am so excited to be blogging my last June wedding today, a little later then usual on a Tuesday due to the bridal show being this weekend and I spent the last two days with my husband finishing up all the last minute details for my new booth! Anyways, today I am sharing Shellee and Danny’s intimate and romantic wedding day at Idlewyld Inn & Spa! When I first met Shellee we clicked right away, we met at Starbucks and chatted about their wedding plans, how her and Danny met and all about the details she had planned and I just fell in love wth their wedding day!
Once their wedding day arrived I was so excited to get started, we began the day at Shellee and Danny’s home which is a 2 minute walk away from Idlewyld Inn & Spa. Their house is so beautiful and has so much charm that it was the most perfect place for Shellee’s bridal details and portraits!
We then made our way over to Idlewyld Inn & Spa to capture the lovely ceremony and details! The weather on this wedding day was so bazaar, we got a huge rain storm about 30 minutes before the ceremony but it all cleared up just in time for them to still have their sweet ceremony outside!
I just love this venue for so many reasons, it has so much character inside and out and we headed to the little garden ally way beside the Inn to capture some images of Shellee with her girls and Danny with his best man!
I just adore all of Shellee and Danny’s portraits together, they are so meant to be and you could see the love these two have for each other in all of their images!
Also this cake! Honestly it is probably one of my favourite wedding cakes of all time!
Another thing I love about this venue is the courtyard out back, the ceremony was held there but so was their reception! We did end up having to move indoors due to a huge rain/hail storm that moved in seconds after their entrance but not before capturing all their details and some candid moments!
Last, this image may look familiar if you’ve been following me for over a year because I captured the same image with a lovely 2016 couple! When Shellee saw that photo she loved it so much that she asked me to recreate it with them as well and it was a perfect way to show all the charm of this stunning venue!
Congratulations Shellee and Danny! Your day was absolutely stunning and I am so honoured have have gotten to meet the two of you, your families and friends and of course capture such a lovely day in your lives together!
