Not me posting this through tears...but MY BABY IS 10!😭😭

I cannot believe that Samson turned 10 today. Have I had multiple meltdowns about it...yes. Do I treasure every single moment I have with this little guy...also yes.

It has been the BEST almost 10 years with this funny little corg and everyday is so special.

Why do I prioritize stepping in front of the camera as a photographer?

So I can show up better behind it!

I personally feel that it is SO important as a photographer to put myself in my couples and families shoes and learn what the experience is like having your photo taken. I book a session at least once a year with another photographer and capture important milestones in my life.

It keeps me grounded, empathetic, and constantly learning.

Because the better I understand your experience, the better I can capture authentic moments for you!💙

👻 Happy October 1st! 🎃

Kicking things off with a little throwback to some favourite photos from last October and this weekend is already off to a wild start! I’ve got a family session, I’m second shooting a wedding, and I’m capturing M & J’s big day. The best way to dive into spooky season! 🧡

🧡 Pumpkins After Dark — it’s the first year in London and I cannot wait!

🧡 @hopeharbourphotography & I’s annual bestie spooky shoot — last year was paper bag heads, the year before: ghosts. Any guesses what we’re doing this time?

🧡 Our family’s annual Halloween costume — year 9! If you’ve been here a while, you know this is a tradition. Costumes are still a secret but trust me… I’m SO excited.

🧡 A Halloween Stag & Doe for my sister and brother-in-law!

🧡 Lots of family birthdays to celebrate.

🧡 Work-wise: 3 weddings, second shooting 2 more, engagement sessions, and fall minis. Let’s gooo!

💙September Photo Dump💙

Okay...so September simply just flew by! I was going through photos for this dump and feeling like all of these things happened literally yesterday. But just like that we are on to October.

And, I am not going to lie, October to December is my FAVOURITE time of year! It is full of birthdays, spooky season, beautiful colours and the holidays. There is just so much goodness and I adore this time of year.

But before I get ahead of myself, lets reminisce about September...
