Started my photography business at 21...

Here’s what I’d tell my younger self now at 33.💁🏻‍♀️

1. Resting is necessary and you shouldn’t feel guilty for taking time to do so.

2. Stop comparing yourself to others. It leads to nothing but stress and anxiety.

3. Instagram and content creation will matter WAY more than you will ever think.

4. Some people will leave, let them.

5. You will need to adopt extroverted traits to succeed in this industry.

6. Focus on creating an amazing client experience for your clients. This will be one of the best marketing tools you have.

7. It’s okay to feel down about things, as long as you keep going anyways.

8. Not every potential client is YOUR client.

9. Listen to your gut, if something feels off it probably is.

10. In 12.5 years, you will be a full time wedding and family photographer and still adore what you do. Keep going, it’s so worth it!
