Happy Halloween everyone! So I normally do the new instalment of The Adventures of Samson and Michelle on the first Tuesday of every month but since this one was all about Halloween it made more sense to switch the blog posts around so that I could actually blog about Halloween on the right day! This year I really wanted to have a costume that all three of us could do that also wasn’t going to cost a ton of money, because Halloween can get pretty pricy. I thought about some of the things that Tylor and I both like and since we tend to like different TV shows, movies and music I really wanted something we both really love and came to the conclusion, Bob’s Burgers!
We both really love the show and find it hilarious so it made the perfect costume idea! We figured it was mainstream enough that people would at least know who we are! Which makes us sound like total hipsters but we watch a lot of shows no one seems to ever have heard of! So enjoy these hilarious photos we took in my dad’s backyard Sunday afternoon in the freezing cold, hamburger and all!
Also truthfully I love the dressing up and candy aspect of Halloween (where are my adults looking forward to cheap candy at?) but I hate the scary side of Halloween! I frighten so easily and the only scary movie I can actually make it through without nightmares is the original Halloween from like 1978, so any scary costumes were pretty much off of the table! I actually am really happy with how the costumes turned out and I am also super excited to share this blog post and all the silliness that was involved in the making!
Ps. Samson is Louise and the hat would not stay on very well so we did our best!
