The Adventures of Samson and Michelle

Hello May 

It’s that time of the month again for some super cute photos of my adorable corgi Sammy! Yes I am a little bias but just look at that little face and tell me he doesn’t have cuteness on his side, and he’s lucky he does! This was another one of those months where I took about 400 images to get 3 good ones, I mean at least they are cute ones I guess haha!

My original plan for May was to get some images with the cherry blossom and magnolia trees in Springbank Park that are typically in bloom at this point in the year, but because of this crazy cold weather I had to improvise as nothing is blooming yet! I was pretty bummed because I didn’t come up with a back up plan so we got a little creative (as usual lol), we went to the dollar store and bought a bubble gun so take some cute photos of Samson with some bubbles!

I was pretty impressed, usually with new things Samson gets a little skittish but he actually did not mind the bubbles at all so it worked out pretty well! I would have shared some outtakes in this blog post but honestly I can’t fit 300 photos into one blog or else I would love to show the reality of taking monthly photos with a very energetic corgi!

I will say, even though this series doesn’t always work out the way I want it to or my ideas just aren’t going to work for the month I know I will treasure these photos of Samson for the rest of my life!

Next month is going to be a little different as we will be in BC when his next post is suppose to go up! I will be pushing it back a week so that I can take some photos of Samson enjoying himself at one of the big dog festivals in London, Bark in the Park! It should be cute so make sure to check that out in June!

Until then, happy May! This month is going to be a busy one and I am so excited to get back into the full swing of things! I have several engagement sessions, my charity sessions and one wedding this month. I also am seeing one of my favourite bands live, having a mini family reunion, seeing Deadpool 2 (obviously) and celebrating my husbands and I’s one year anniversary of being married! Oh and we leave for BC on May 30th so the month will be full of getting ready for that as well!

So here is to a great month and some warmer sunny weather!
