Brittney and Steve’s Winter Ancaster Mill Wedding
After taking a break from The Blog for the month of October, I am back today and could not have chosen a better wedding to restart blogging! October was a very mixed month of busyness, being guests at weddings and dealing with the passing of my sweet Nani. There was so much going on that The Blog needed to take a back seat. But I am very excited to get back to it today with Brittney and Steve’s winter wedding at the stunning Ancaster Mill!
Before diving into Brittney and Steve’s wedding, I also had the pleasure of capturing their fall engagement session last fall at Westfield Heritage Village. You can check out their adorable engagement session on the blog HERE!
On February 10th, my second shooter Anneka and I drove out to Ancaster Ontario for Brittney and Steve’s big day! We began the day capturing both the bride and groom getting ready at the super cute Barracks Inn. I loved all of the stone work we got to use for their detail photos and it really matched with their wedding venue, Ancaster Mill.
We then headed out to Fieldcote Memorial Park & Museum for their first look and to capture wedding party images. Ancaster is blessed with so many historical and lovely areas and we got to use some of the prettiest!
Following some images, we headed to Ancaster Mill for bride and groom portraits, the ceremony and then reception. I love the area Ancaster Mill offers for photos, like who wouldn’t want to have images in front of a waterfall!! The chapel is also so stunning for winter and evening ceremonies.
The rest of the evening was filled with heartfelt speeches, the sweetest first dance and lots and lots of fun!
