Civic Garden Complex was a popular spot for engagement sessions last summer and another adorable session there is making it’s way onto the blog today! Usually I would be blogging a new instalment of The Adventures of Samson and Michelle today as it is the first Tuesday of the month but I have decided to put a little hiatus on the Samson blogs to focus on another project this year. That being said the blog will go on as normal with weddings, sessions and educational posts and I am so excited to share this other personal Samson project later this year!
As mentioned Civic Garden Complex is a very popular spot for sessions and I got to capture lots there over the years especially last summer. I met up with Laura and Katie on a warm evening in July to capture their sweet golden hour engagement session! I met Laura years ago as she is the sister of one of my past grooms from 2017. I was so thrilled when she contacted me about also capturing her wedding and we got lucky enough that Laura and Katie did get to have their wedding this past November at Bellamere Winery and Event Centre!! I cannot wait to blog their wedding as it was such a stunning day and it was super touch and go for awhile with all the covid rules.
We wandered around Civic Gardens chatting about wedding plans and our 2020 year during the pandemic. It was such a beautiful evening and we got the prettiest golden light through their whole session. Plus I got to photograph two engagement rings which is always super exciting!
Congratulations Laura and Katie, it was such a pleasure getting to know you both and be apart of such special days in your lives together! And an extra special congratulations to these two as they just bought a house a few months ago!
