Crystal and Darryl’s Civic Gardens Wedding
Kicking off December on the blog with my last wedding of 2023 and conveniently enough I captured it almost one year ago! Crystal and Darryl tied the knot on December 29th last year and their day was absolutely perfect. These two are so meant to be and it was such an honour getting to meet them and capture such a special time in their lives together!

We began the day by Cassie (Hope Harbour Photography aka my Bestie) capturing Darryl getting ready while I headed to Crystal. We then met up at Civic Gardens for the first look, some photos with their adorable dog and to prep for their ceremony!
Crystal and Darryl had their ceremony in the conservatory. It is such a lovely area for wedding ceremonies, the light is so lovely and there is so much colour everywhere! Their ceremony was so special as Crystal’s brother was the officiant and they pulled a fun joke on Darryl at the end…they pulled out a stool for him to stand on for their first kiss. Thankfully, they were good sports about the joke!!
Following the ceremony, we captured wedding party and couples photos in the conservatory before heading to their reception. It may have been December but we ended up getting rain, which always makes for some really cool night photos!
