Mackenzie and Jake’s Fall Wedding at FireRock Golf Club

One of my all time favourite wedding days is making it’s way onto the blog today and I could not be more excited to share all about Mackenzie and Jake’s sweet day! Mackenzie and Jake first met when they were around fourteen years old at their first job, they connected immediately but lost touch. Years later these two bumped into each other again at a pub and have been together ever since! Can you say meant to be?!
Mackenzie and Jake had so much to contend with when it came to their wedding day plans, just like almost every other 2020 couple. They inevitably decided to go with their original wedding date, October 10th 2020 and honestly it could not have been a more perfect day! I began the day heading out to Lucan to Mackenzie and Jake’s home to capture Jake getting ready with his sweet parents, awesome groomsmen and their dog Scout, who is just adorable!
I then drove back into London to head to Mackenzie’s parents house to capture her get ready with her sweet parents and wedding party! It was so much fun getting to hangout with this awesome group of people and I actually went to high school with both Mackenzie and her older brother Andrew! Also props to Mackenzie for totally rocking the champagne pop!!
Then it was time to make our way to FireRock for the ceremony, it was short and sweet yet full of lots of laughs and love! Scout was even a part of it as the flower girl. We headed out to wander the grounds of FireRock, which are absolutely stunning, to get lots of wedding party and couples photos before heading back up to the patio! By the time we arrived back, it had been transformed from a ceremony space to the most amazing harvest table with a stunning scape with florals and centrepieces by Springhill Flowers!
The rest of the evening was full of the most delicious fall inspired food, adorable dances and lots of night photos around the patio! It was such a fun and a perfect day!!
It was such an honour to meet Mackenzie and Jake and I wish them so much happiness in their lives together!
