Lindsay and Josh’s Beautiful August Wedding

Another lovely wedding day is making it’s way onto the blog today and it is one of my favourites (at one of my favourite wedding venues) of 2018! Lindsay and Josh said I do at the beautiful Forest City National this past August, we had the most perfect sunny weather and come on who wouldn’t love to say I Do overlooking a river and an incredible view! I also had the pleasure of capturing these twos engagement session by the water last May at Port Stanley beach which you can check out here!

We began the day with getting ready, my amazing assistant for the day Shannon from Shannon Constantine Photography headed to Josh and his groomsmen and I headed to Lindsay and her bridesmaids to kick off the day with lots of pretty wedding details and candid moments!

I just love all of the special details Lindsay incorporated into her day for her mom, who unfortunately could not be there, she made sure to include her photo, a shawl she had made, a dragonfly brooch and a special in memory table at the reception. It is always so special to have these memories included in such a special day!

We then met up at the always lovely Forest City National, I love this venue so much, it may be a golf course but it looks more like a conservation area right on the water which makes it amazing for photos! We made sure to capture all of their reception and ceremony details before the ceremony began. I am in love with the colour palette Lindsay chose!

The ceremony was short, sweet and was full of lots of smiles and laughs!

One of my new favourite things to try and capture at weddings are those few moments after the bride and groom walk back down the aisle and are greeted by their closest friends and family! I adore all the candid smiles and congratulations!

Also how cute are Lindsay’s nephews?!

We then began bridesmaids, groomsmen and bridal party images before heading off to capture some portraits of Lindsay and Josh!

We then kicked off the night with entrances, speeches and lots of laughs! The best part about this venue is that it is right on the water and the sunset happens right over top of the river! We snuck out right at golden hour to capture some more portraits of these two love birds!

The rest of the evening included delicious food, more amazing and heart felt speeches (some tears may have happened) and lovely dances! We ended off the night with some sparklers before saying our good-byes and letting them party the night away!
