Happy 3 Year Anniversary Michelle A Photography!

People celebrate anniversaries and milestones for so many lovely and exciting things in their lives from weddings anniversaries to birthdays, I am usually on top of all and every important date in my life, but this is the first year I actually took the time to celebrate my business anniversary! This was the first year where one, I actually remembered the date and not just late March sometime and second felt like I had finally become as successful as I wanted to be at this stage in my business! Don’t get me wrong, I am so lucky to have had the success and opportunities I have had in past years but this year so far, I have met most of my goals for 2016 and it is only late March! I am so SO excited for all the amazing wedding days I get to be apart of this year and all the beautiful wedding days I have been apart of in the past!
I am so lucky to call this my dream job and on Sunday I was able be apart of such a wonderful day, not only did I get the chance to participate in a workshop I had been waiting for since last fall but it was also the three year anniversary of myself being in business as Michelle A Photography!
Sunday morning I woke up at 4:30 to make the drive up to Peterborough Ontario for The Refresh Workshop (which I will be posting a blog post of my experience and favourite photos next week!). It was an absolutely incredible experience! I honestly could not have spent my 3 year anniversary in business in a better way then learning and meeting so many awesome photographers!
It is hard to believe three years have already gone by! It feels like just yesterday I was graduating from Fanshawe College with just the dream of being able to do the job I love for the rest of my life! Three years later I have had so many amazing experiences, met so many awesome people and photographed some lovely wedding days, I can’t even wait to see what the years to come will bring. The 20th was the official anniversary date, but what I didn’t realize was the day after I had booked my very first wedding I ever had the pleasure of photographing, in June of 2013!
It was by far a pretty exciting string of milestones for me and my business this past couple of days and I cannot wait to blog more about the workshop and of course for my 2016 engagement and wedding season!
