We are entering into busy season in the photography world, which means it is also family session season! So today on the blog I am sharing some tips and tricks about how to keep family photos fun & easy. Sometimes they can become hectic fairly quickly, especially with small children!
There are definitely things you can do to make sure that your session is set up for success before it even gets started!

Snacks & Treats
Bring your kids or pets favourite snacks to offer in the event that they need a little bit of coaxing.
Change of Clothes
If you have young children, always bring a change of clothes in the event of a fall or mess. That way there is no stress about outfits.
Booking your Session
Book your session around when your children are happiest. It will be a lot easier to have happy kids when they are well rested and in a good mood.
Happy Kids = Fun Photos
Do your kids like to be tossed or swung around? Let’s use that for candid and natural expressions. If your kids are having fun that will translate into your images.
