Monarch Wedding Workshop!

In the middle of April I made a last minute decision to head to Leamington Ontario to participate in a workshop held my the amazing Carrie J Photographer and Sara Wiebe Photography called the Monarch Wedding Workshop and wow was it worth every penny! The workshop was run from 2pm-8pm in the beautiful city of Leamington at the cutest little flower shop called House of Flowers, the first couple hours were purely teaching everything from client experience to how they got started in the photography world. We then took a little break for delicious snacks before diving into a Q&A and heading a few minutes away to a amazing farm property to finish up with a styled session!
The styled session was everything!! Literally it was beautiful, the styling was right on trend with the wedding world right now and we could not have asked for better weather or a more lovely golden hour sunset while we spent two hours shooting and discussing posing! Not to mention I took one of my favourite photos of all time as Carrie brought a red smoke bomb with her for us to try out and the second I captured that image I was feeling the most inspired I had all winter!
This is the first workshop I have attended since 2016 and my second workshop all together but I am so happy that I made the leap to go and hangout with an amazing group of female photographers in the Windsor and Leamington area!
Last I want to thank Carrie and Sara for putting on such an educational and incredible workshop and to my photographer friends if you ever want to attend a workshop keep an eye on these two! It is completely worth the money and the drive for the amount of education and inspiration I left with, not to mention some beautiful images for my portfolio!
