Jayde and Michael’s lovely July wedding!

Happy Wedding Wednesday! From now on I will be posting all my blog posts on Wednesdays to make it easier to follow along as well as to make a habit of posting a wedding (or engagement) blog post the same day every week! So first off is Jayde and Michael’s amazing wedding at Idlewyld Inn & Spa here in London Ontario!
I first met Jayde and Michael when another photographer in the city referred them to me after being booked themselves! I instantly felt a connection with these two! They are seriously two of the sweetest people I have ever met and it was such an honour to have been able to capture their wedding day!
I began the day capturing Jayde’s stunning details, her dress was amazing and was two pieces which was so unique and suited her perfectly! Her flowers from Harris Flower Farm were a perfect fit to their wedding day and the the gifts to her best friends were so cool!
After capturing some details of the morning we headed just around the corner to St. John the Devine church for the ceremony.
The rest of their lovely day was at Idlewyld Inn & Spa, which is now one of my absolute favourite venues here in London! Jayde and Michael designed all the wedding details themselves and seriously killed it! Each setting had a different vintage plate, their were several different vases and florals and they also had three individual cakes that were all completely different!
Another one of my favourite details from their day was their guest book which was a vintage photo album. They filled the pages with quotes, their engagement photos (which you can see here) and details from their relationship including the plane tickets from when they met!
After capturing all their lovely court yard details we spent the rest of the time capturing some couples photos of these two! Idlewyld has so much to work with for photos outside and inside as well!
Another one of my many favourite details from their day were their wedding rings! Jayde’s engagement ring was her great grandmothers and her band was ordered off of Etsy, as were many other wedding details.
After finishing up their images we headed back to the court yard for their reception. The had vintage post cards for each guest to open to thank them for attending such a special day!
Their speeches were so sweet and meaningful and are such an awesome part of a wedding day. Michael’s brother and parents speeches were so heartfelt and hilarious and Jayde’s moms was one of the sweetest speeches I have ever heard!
Of course this wedding was filled with favourites as mentioned about 100 times in the blog post but another one of my favourite things was that we got to sneak out to take some sunset shots! Golden hour is the nicest time for photos and it was so awesome that we got to make time to take some, they ended up being some of my favourites from the whole day!
Congratulations Jayde and Michael! It was such a pleasure getting to meet the both of you and your lovely families and I wish you so much love and happiness in your marriage together!
