Melanie and Chad’s lovely backyard wedding!

I first had the pleasure of meeting Melanie back in the winter of this year to chat with her and her adorable daughters about her and Chad’s wedding day. Shortly after our first meeting she decided to book with Michelle A Photography for her backyard wedding on August 6th!
Everything on this wedding day was so close together it was awesome! We began the day at Melanie and Chad’s house to capture Melanie, her bridesmaids and her two daughters get ready for the day. Saying these little flower girls are the cutest is an understatement!
From there we headed 5 houses down for their backyard ceremony at Melanie’s mothers house, it was such a casual ceremony. They had beverages and snacks for all their guests and their favours were little drink cozies with their names and wedding date on them!
After the ceremony we headed just across the street to The Willows Golf and Country Club for all of their photos as well as their reception!
All of their reception details fit their reception location perfectly. They had so many golf themed details such as their cake topper, centerpieces and their favours. They also had the most amazing candy bar full of anything from jelly beans to butter tarts!
Last but not least, their first dance was so sweet! It is a tradition in their culture to have all their guests on the dance floor surrounding the bride and groom with all their love!
Of course I always say this but I am just so lucky to meet the people I do, it was such a pleasure meeting these two and their adorable daughters and I wish them so much happiness in their marriage!
