Posed, Prompted, or Candid?💙

When couples ask me about my photography style, I say: “I want your final gallery to look as your wedding day did — this includes a blend of posed, prompted, and candid photos.”

So what’s the difference between the three?

Posed: Fully directed by me. Think: family formals, couples portraits and wedding party photos.

Prompted: Light guidance or actions to create natural interactions. Think: walking hand-in-hand, laughing, or practicing your first dance.

Candid: 100% unposed and organic. Captured as it happens. Think: the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception dance floor.

Each type plays a special role in telling the full story of your day and I am there to capture every second!
