Megan and Scott’s lovely fall wedding day at Sunningdale Golf and Country Club

Another lovely wedding day has made it’s way onto the blog this evening! A little late today as I spent the day wedding dress shopping with one of my best friends (she found her dress!). Today I am sharing Megan and Scott’s amazing wedding day at Sunningdale Golf Club here in London Ontario!
I first had the pleasure of meeting Megan at the January bridal show at the western fair at the beginning of 2016, she actually won a free engagement session with me at the show and you can take a look at their amazing engagement session here! Shortly after we had a coffee date at coffee culture downtown and chatted about how she went to school in Australia, how her and Scott met and of course about their wedding plans!
We began the day at Megan and Scott’s home in Byron to capture Scott’s details and him getting ready! It was fun being able to capture more of the groom details as I usually end up focusing on the bridal details!
We then headed just around the corner to Megan’s parents home where she was getting ready with her bridal party and mom!
Of course how gorgeous is her bouquet done by the incredible Springhill Flowers!
We then headed to Sunningdale Golf Course, this was my first time photographing a wedding there but it was lovely. They had their ceremony in the same room as their reception and it had so much window light to work with, which as a photographer is always welcome!
One of the most amazing things I have ever witnessed at a wedding was this moment! Scott’s uncle was officiating the wedding and had their marriage blessed by the Pope himself! Needless to say the whole room was in awe of this moment and it was so incredible!
The weather for Megan and Scott’s wedding was so warm and sunny, perfect for a wedding especially for mid-October! We headed outside to capture all of the bridesmaid, groomsmen and bridal party photos before beginning the bride and groom portraits.
I always get so excited when I get to photograph the bride and grooms photos at sunset and they timed their images perfectly for the most beautiful lighting! Honestly their portraits are some of my absolute favourites to date 🙂
Plus, these rings! Scott had Megan’s ring custom made and designed it himself!
Their reception was awesome, you could just tell how much love was in this room for the bride and groom! The groom’s speech alone was enough to make me cry and you could just see how much Megan and Scott love each other!
It was such an honour getting to meet both Megan and Scott and of course be apart of their amazing wedding day! I wish these two so much love in their marriage and lots of puppy cuddles as they have a recent addition to their little family a husky named Balto!
