Getting to the end of my 2020 work on the blog and it is going to end with a couple of super cute family sessions! Carly, Mike and Elliott may look pretty familiar by now, I had the pleasure of capturing Carly and Mike’s wedding day back in 2016. Since then I have been taking family photos for these three every year! It is such a blast always getting to hangout with them and see Elliott grow!
We met up on a sunny evening last November at the always stunning Westminster Ponds. It has quickly become one of my favourite fall locations for photos. It is always so colourful and has so much to work with from water to woods!
Elliott wasn’t super into photos this time, but we were still able to get a couple of super cute family shots and lots of Elliott just doing his thing. When it comes to family sessions with your toddlers, candid is always best! I always aim to get that nice posed family photo first and then move on to capturing candid moments as they happen. It is nice to just see how your toddler was at that age! Plus they have way more fun since they aren’t being forced to look at the camera and smile the whole time.
I look forward to capturing this sweet families memories every year and I am so excited for more years to come!
