Oh hey!! It has been a hot minute since something new has made it’s way onto the blog. Between busy season, editing and that work life balance, the blog kind of ended up on the back burner. Usually I am on top of keeping the blog updated every week but something needed to give and unfortunately the blog was it. So you could say I am pretty dang excited to be posting something new on the blog today and something that I have been excited to blog since I captured this session!
Last November, I received an email from Brandon, he wanted to book a couples session for himself and his girlfriend Stephanie. The kicker though? He was going to surprise her by proposing!! Proposal photography has always been something on my photography bucket list.
When he told me I was SO excited, this was my first time ever getting to capture a proposal! We met up at Komoka Provincial Park on a chilly day in mid-November. Brandon had brought a gift for Stephanie to open and inside was a mug that said “The One with the Proposal” a nod to the TV show Friends! He then got down on one knee, and Stephanie’s reaction was PERFECT!
We then wandered the park to capture engagement photos for these two, moments after getting engaged!
It was honestly such a blast and will go down as one of my all time favourite sessions I have ever captured! I am also incredibly excited to be photographing their wedding day next October!
