Ashley and Travis’s September Wedding Day!

I am officially making my way into “fall” 2019 weddings on the blog today, I mean September isn’t technically fall but thats where I am categorizing it! Last fall aka September and October was by far my busiest season for weddings last year and I am super excited to finally start sharing these amazing wedding days up on the blog! Ashley and Travis kicked off my super busy fall with their super adorable wedding day at one of my all time favourite venues in the city, Windermere Manor Hotel. I first met Ashley and Travis a few years ago when we had coffee at William’s to chat, I immediately felt a connection with these two and how amazingly sweet they are! When we got talking Ashley told me that even before her and Travis were engaged she had me picked out as their wedding photographer and I could have cried at how freaken amazing that is!
Needless to say I could not have been more excited when September of 2019 rolled around and with it Ashley and Travis’s absolutely incredible wedding day was finally here! I need to give a shout out to my amazing second shooter for the day Stephanie from Behind the Scenes Photography for capturing some images of Travis getting ready as well as some amazing angles of the day! We started with getting ready and moved right into one of the most tear jerking first looks I have ever been a part of! Ashley and Travis are high school sweethearts and I am not kidding when I say they are 100% meant to be together, every part of the day was so emotional and I had a permanent smile plastered on my face from getting to witness these two get married!
Once the first look was done, we moved right into some bride and groom images and wedding party photos. I swear everyone in this wedding were models, and I could not be more in love with the colour palette Ashley chose for their day, not only did it compliment the wedding party well but it matched the venue perfectly! Next up was the ceremony and let me tell you the smiles just kept on coming, from Ashley’s dad walking her down the aisle to their little dog Clover crashing their first kiss by getting off her leash everything was just so cute!
We then took some time to do full wedding party photos and also snuck in some more bride and groom portraits before getting the night started! The evening was full of delicious food (including DONUTS!), the sweetest dances, some cry worthy speeches and lots and lots of laughs. We officially ended off the night with some night portraits before saying our good-byes and letting all the guests dance the night away!
It was such an honour to meet Ashley and Travis and be apart of such a beautiful day! I wish them so much happiness in their lives together and it was so much fun meeting all of their family and friends!
