Marlee and Christopher’s Fall Wedding

Marlee and Christopher’s sweet October wedding is making it’s way onto the blog today and I could not be more excited to share more about this stunning fall wedding! Although their day had a few bumps, Marlee and Christopher both made the best of it and their wedding day was one of my all time favourites! Between having the perfect fall weather, the most amazing bride and groom speech ever and it being held at one of my favourite wedding venues Windermere Manor it was a pretty great day. Plus since their wedding we have become friends and have had some pretty fun game nights!
I first met Marlee and Christopher about a year and a half before their wedding date when we met up at Williams for some coffee and to chat all about their wedding day plans and how they got engaged in Peru at the top of Machu Picchu! We then got to meet up again for their engagement session last summer at Western University that you can check out here! We bonded right away and literally have so much in common!
The day began with my amazing second shooter Steph from Behind the Scenes Photography heading to Windermere to capture Christopher getting ready for the day and myself heading out to Marlee’s parents home to capture her getting ready. We then met up to capture their oh so sweet ceremony that was full of lots of laughs! Windermere honestly is one of the most beautiful places for photos and if you know me I am a huge sucker for fall! We found some amazing spots for wedding party and bride and groom photos and we even got a pretty nice sunset! Sunsets in the fall are pretty rare and I was lucky enough to get a handful last year.
The rest of the evening was full of the best speeches, lots of laughs and tears, the yummiest food and some of the sweetest dances ever! And as mentioned, we have become pretty good friends since their wedding and I am so SO thankful that my job allows me to meet such awesome people like Marlee and Christopher!!
It was such an honour to meet Marlee and Christopher and be apart of such a beautiful day! I wish them so much happiness in their lives together and it was so much fun meeting all of their family and friends!
