Sara and Alexander’s June Wedding Day!

A sweet wedding is making it’s way onto the blog today as I am working on getting these summer weddings and sessions blogged! Sara and Alex said I Do at two of the most beautiful venues I have ever had the pleasure of photographing and their day was absolutely perfect! I first met up with them after last years January London Bridal Expo to have some coffee and chat about all things wedding. They told me all about how they met while studying at McMaster University also where we ended up capturing their engagement session that was blogged a few months ago and you can check out all that beautifulness here! They are honestly two of the sweetest people I have ever met and it was such a blast getting to hangout with these two and get to know them better!
They chose the most perfect day in June for their wedding, we made the drive from London to Hamilton to get to their ceremony venue, Whitehern Historic House and Garden! It was such a gorgeous place for a wedding ceremony, with a large heritage home on the property and the most lovely manicured gardens it made for a stunning first look, ceremony and photo location! We used the front of the property for Sara and Alex to have a nice and quick first look before heading out back to get their short and sweet ceremony started. I loved watching these two tie the knot, it was full of lots of smiles and laughs from them and all of their guests!
We wandered the property a little bit more using all of the hidden gems for some wedding party and bride and groom photos before heading to Ancaster Mill another absolutely stunning venue for weddings! We wandered around using the beautiful bridge, stunning gardens and the crown jewel of Ancaster Mill their amazing waterfall before heading over to get Sara and Alex’s cocktail hour and reception started! The rest of the night was filled with delicious food, lots of good laughs and adorable speeches, but before we said our goodbyes and made our way back to London we headed down the hill to find literally the most perfect tree for their night photo! Which I might add has officially become one of my all time favourite images!
