💙Everything You Need to Know About Michelle A Photo💙

Today I am sharing all things Michelle A Photo from 12 years ago to now!✌🏻

In 2013, Michelle A Photography became a reality when I registered my business. The very next day, I booked my first wedding and a few months later photographed it! My business name at the time was actually Michelle Alexandra Photography, that is where the A comes from in Michelle A Photo.

A few years later in 2015, I started to participate in the London Bridal Expos. With my old mint, grey and pink branding. Oh and super cool vintage style edits.🙈

And in 2016, I quit my final part time job and became a full time photographer! I photographed 18 weddings that year and found my photography style.

The following year, 2017, was a BIG year for me. One of my photos won second place in a worldwide photography contest and I rebranded to be what Michelle A Photography is today!

Skipping ahead to 2020...everyones favourite year...the pandemic hit and everything came to a grinding halt. I was gearing up for 20 weddings that year but instead I got to play catch up pretty much until 2022.

But it wasn’t all bad! I was featured twice in that period of time in two different wedding magazines.😍

And that brings us all the way to present day. I just celebrated 12 years in business and have photographed 100’s of weddings and tons of family sessions!

Michelle A Photography is now booking 2025 weddings and sessions as well as 2026 weddings!

Back in March, I ran a session giveaway for my 12th business anniversary. The lucky winner was Megan!

I had the pleasure of meeting Megan and Zoe a couple of years ago when they reached out about their wedding. Since then I have captured their engagement session and wedding, so I was thrilled when Megan won!

We met up at Port Stanley beach last night to capture one year wedding anniversary photos. My absolute favourite thing about these two is how much fun they have together!

It was a blast frolicking around the beach, spinning in the water and getting all sandy. Cheers to Megan and Zoe as they celebrate one year married, coming up on July 27th!🥰
