Meaghan and Zach’s Engagement Session

A sweet engagement session is making it’s way onto the blog today and it includes a beautiful sunset, adorable dogs and one of the sweetest couples I have ever met! Meaghan and Zach have been together since high school and when I first met them at Williams to chat about their wedding day I knew I couldn’t wait to get to know them and capture such special moments in their lives together!
We met up on a very warm and sunny evening last August to capture their engagement session at Civic Gardens here in London Ontario. Civic Gardens is always a super popular spot for session and it totally makes sense why. It has stunning gardens, a cute wooden bridge and lots of other stunning areas in such a small space! We began the session on the popular bridge with Meaghan and Zach’s sweet dogs before taking a walk down into Springbank Park to get a better use of that golden hour light!
The rest of the session we wandered around the pond, archways and even got some mask photos to commemorate planning a wedding in a pandemic! These two also kept their original wedding date of October 16th last year and I cannot wait for that wedding to hit the blog because it is STUNNING!
Oh I am also going to take a minute to appreciate a groom detail that was included in this session! I always make sure to get photos of the engagement ring but Zach has a custom bracelet with the dates of when him and Meaghan began dating, when they got engaged and their wedding date! Such a cute detail and we had to make sure to get some images of it as well.
