Renee and Abe’s Fall Engagement Session

Breaking things up a little bit on the blog and jumping to one of my favourite engagement sessions of all time! I was meant to blog another wedding today but figured why not break up the wedding blogs with some engagement session goodness! Renee and Abe are another couple from my 2020 wedding season where their wedding plans were disrupted by covid. Originally they were suppose to tie the knot on a boat in Toronto last July, I was so excited but unfortunately due to the pandemic they needed to postpone their date. Since their wedding did not go as planned we directed plans to the engagement session!
They had some ideas, originally we planned to head to a sunflower patch for their session but with questionable weather we scrapped that and a month or so later we headed to Fanshawe Conservation Area for a conservation area engagement session! Honestly I am so glad we ended up here because it is STUNNING! I am not lying when I say that Renee and Abe’s engagement session is one of my all time favs! Fanshawe is one of the prettiest areas in London Ontario in my opinion and in the fall it’s even more beautiful. We wandered around the grounds moving from the woods to the water and the sunset followed us through the whole session!
Fall leaves + golden hour + water = ONE HAPPY PHOTOGRAPHER!!
I cannot wait to meet up with these two again hopefully this summer to capture some more images, even if it isn’t the wedding they had envisioned!
