Family Property Wedding
The first wedding blog post of 2021 is making it’s way onto the blog today and I am so excited to get to share all about Tiffany and Andrew’s summer family property wedding day! Like many of my 2020 couples, Tiffany and Andrew went back and forth on what to do with their wedding day plans due to the uncertainty of Covid. Thankfully restrictions lifted up enough that they decided to go ahead with their plan to get married at Tiffany’s grandparents house last July! Even though the day wasn’t exactly what Tiffany had planned it was absolutely perfect!! They got to have their outdoor ceremony, we took lots of photos in the golden light and they even got to have a little bit of a reception (within the guidelines) and it was such a fun day!
I also had the pleasure of getting to capture these twos adorable engagement session at their home as well as Civic Gardens and Springbank Park in September of 2019 and if you want to check out that session you can do so here!
My amazing second shooter Jocelyn from Aster and Lily Photography and I began the day by driving out Tiffany’s grandparents home to start with getting ready for both Tiffany and Andrew. The property was so lovely and had so much to work with plus their details we just stunning. Milo their little dog was also the star of the show and I loved that they incorporated him so much into their special day!
We moved right into the ceremony after getting ready, Milo was the ring bearer and had a little bit of trouble making it down the aisle without some assistance from Tiffany and her maid of honour. I am so glad that Jocelyn was able to capture some shots of Tiffany running after him before returned back to her mom and brother to walk down the aisle! The rest of the ceremony was full of sweet vows, lots of laughs and a sand ceremony that didn’t go quite as planned (lots of sand didn’t completely make it’s way into the container)!
We then moved right into wedding party and bride and groom photos! As mentioned the property was beautiful and it being super sunny and hot all day ended up resulting in the prettiest lighting for all of their photos! They also bought some confetti poppers, although we got some amazing confetti photos (a favourite from 2020), they did not go nearly as planned and we had lots of laughs trying to figure them out!
We wrapped up the evening with the sweetest first dance before we said our good byes and headed home for the day.
It was such an honour to meet Tiffany and Andrew and be apart of such a beautiful day and I wish them so much happiness in their lives together!
