Taylor & Nicholas’s Wedding

Diving into my September 2021 weddings on the blog and first up is Taylor and Nicholas’s sweet wedding day! Like many of my 2021 couples, these two were suppose to tie the knot in 2020 but had to postpone due to covid. To say everyone was incredibly excited for their wedding day would be a huge understatement! It was honestly perfect in every way and I am so excited to be sharing all about it today.
I met Taylor and Nicholas back in 2018 when I captured Nicholas’s sisters wedding. The main image on my website is actually from that wedding because I am still so in love with it all these years later! When Taylor and Nicholas decided to book me for their wedding as well I could not be more excited!!
We began the day at Fernwood Hills to capture the getting ready images and ceremony. Their details are some of my all time favourites, proof that choosing a getting ready space with lots of natural light and neutrals works wonders for your photos! Fernwood Hills has a getting ready space for both the bride and groom within a close distance, which was awesome to keep things running smoothly.
We then went right into the ceremony, when I say it was an emotional one, I mean it. I was almost in tears watching Nicholas see Taylor for the first time walking down the aisle. His reaction was so sweet and genuine, these two are truly meant to be!
We then headed over to FireRock Golf Club to capture the wedding party and couples portraits. I LOVE FireRock so much and always get super excited when I get to capture weddings there. We may have not gotten a sunset but we were able to get lots of stunning portraits and super cool night photos!
The evening was filled with laughs and tears at the hilarious and heartfelt speeches. These two are surrounded by the best family and friends and I am so happy they were able to celebrate with all of them!
Congratulations Taylor and Nicholas, I wish you all the happiness in the world together!
