Ending off this month on the blog with another sweet August wedding from last summer! August was such a busy month last year and it is quite exciting to get to share all of the loveliness that we got to capture. Up next is Jess and Jake’s stunning wedding day at Maple Lane Haven in Brussels Ontario!
Jess and Jake are two of the sweetest people I have ever met and a couple of high school sweethearts! We met up in the summer of 2020 to capture their engagement session at one of my all time favourite places, Pinery Provincial Park and were graced with the most gorgeous sunset of all time! To say I was excited when Jess and Jake’s wedding day rolled around is an understatement. We made the drive out to Maple Lane Haven, an absolutely stunning rustic wedding venue! We began the day capturing Jess and Jake get ready with their wedding party before heading into their ceremony in front of a lovely gazebo and stone waterfall. Their wedding day probably goes down in history as one of the hottest weddings of last summer but everyone rocked it and we did our best to find as much shade as possible!
Following the ceremony, we captured lots of wedding party and couples portraits before heading in for Jess and Jake’s dance, speeches and dinner. Just as the rain hit! Miraculously that rain brought out the most stunning rainbow and we ran outside to capture some portraits before it faded away. Like how lucky do you have to be to get a RAINBOW on your wedding day!
Following dinner, we headed outside to capture some more bride and groom portraits before heading into the parent dances and cake cutting. We ended off the evening with some night photos before saying our good-byes.
