Nick & Houyi’s Elopement at Idlewyld Inn & Spa
Kicking off regular scheduled programming on the blog today with a sweet elopement! I met up with Nick, Houyi and their immediate families to capture some photos at the lovely Idlewyld Inn & Spa last May.
Nick and Houyi tied the knot at the London Courthouse and then headed over to Idlewyld Inn & Spa for a celebratory dinner. I met them before they settled in for dinner to capture some group photos and lots of couples portraits!
Fun fact, Nick is actually childhood friends with my cousin and his mom is friends with my aunt. It was really cool to be able to chat about growing up in Byron and attending the same elementary school. Another fun fact, my two cousins, my sister and I all attended the same elementary school for a time and the same high school as well!
Anyways, Nick, Houyi and I wandered the grounds of Idlewyld Inn & Spa finding all the little pockets of light and prettiest areas. It is such a cute venue if you are looking for a historic inn, intimate wedding vibe!
Congratulations Nick and Houyi! I wish you so much happiness in your lives together.
