Lauren and Cole’s Summer Engagement Session

So excited for another summer engagement session to make it’s way onto the blog today! Lauren is a very special bride because we actually went to Saunders Secondary School together! When she messaged me about how she had been following my work since I first started photography and wanted me to capture her wedding I was so excited I had to come home and do a little happy dance! I could not have been happier to get to be apart of such a special moment in an old high school friends life and I was extra lucky to get to capture her and Cole’s engagement session and wedding day!
I met up with Lauren and Cole on a very warm evening at Milt Dunnel Park in St Mary’s Ontario. The only time I had been there before this session was for the amazing Christmas light set up they do every year, myself along with my husband Tylor and his family took a drive out back in 2019 to see the lights and explore Stratford. I was super excited to get to see the park during the day and also get to explore it for this session. We walked into the woods under the super tall bridge which is a main feature of Milt Dunnel Park and got lots of pretty photos with the golden hour sun!
Lauren and Cole rocked their engagement session and also brought their two sweet dogs along for a couple of photos which lets face it I always get super excited about! I cannot wait to get to blog these two’s wedding in a few months as it was one of my favourite days last year! They had to virtually change their entire wedding day (as almost all my 2020 couples did) but it was absolutely perfect anyways!
