Jennifer and Neil’s lovely late November Wedding Day!

I love getting to meet such awesome people and I can honestly say that Jennifer and Neil are two of the sweetest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting! They contacted me in March of last year to set up a meeting regarding their wedding photography and at that point they knew that they wanted Michelle A Photography to capture their stunning day! I was ecstatic when they said they wanted to book and you could imagine how excited I was when the wedding day finally rolled around on November 21st of last year!
Neil, the groom got ready in the morning at a hotel in Oakville, there were so many personal details of the day such as having their initials and wedding date stitched into the inside of Neil’s jacket. Such a cute little sentiment they will have for the rest of their lives! It was also pretty cute watching Neil’s best man, Chris help his with his bow tie 😛
Jennifer got ready at their home in Georgetown in an adorable little neighbourhood! She had so many stunning details, her dress, earrings and shoes were just lovely! Bridal details rank high on my favourite part of a wedding day to photograph, it allows me to be creative and find some awesome little locations to place details to capture them beautifully!
From their we made our way to Holy Cross Catholic Parish Church just minutes away from their beautiful home for their ceremony.
It always makes me happy when couples have a special place they just have to have some couple’s portraits done on their wedding day! For Jennifer and Neil this was a cute little wooded path tucked back into their neighbourhood. We braved the rain and jumped out of our cars to capture some of my favourite photos of the day! Ps. also how cute is this candid with Jennifer’s little niece’s? I just had to add it in this post!
From Georgetown, it was back to Oakville for the rest of the photos and reception! They chose The Harbour Banquet and Conference Centre that is located right on Lake Ontario for their reception and cocktail hour and the grounds were just stunning!
Jennifer and Neil are both high school teachers and also coach teams at their school, so how fitting is it that their cake topper was a basketball for Neil and a soccer ball for Jennifer! After their cocktail hour they made their entrance and went right into their first dance as husband and wife 🙂
The speeches were so sweet, the dinner was amazing and the bridal party was so much fun! It was such a beautiful wedding day and it went absolutely perfectly! Once the speeches were done, we headed outside to capture Jennifer and Neil’s night photo that we were all super excited about! We were so lucky and got a little bit of rain that evening which ended up getting me my absolutely favourite photo from a wedding to date!
