Kahla and Josh’s Candle Lit Wedding

I am so excited to be blogging another winter wedding today and this one is pretty awesome! Kahla works at Moores here in London and does the bridal shows which is how she first found me! She knows a lot about the wedding industry and it was such an honour for her to ask me to capture her and Josh’s wedding day this past March! This wedding day was full of a ton of uniqueness which has led it to be one of my favourite wedding days to date, plus Kahla and Josh are two of the sweetest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting!
We began the day bright and early to start with Josh, his details and him getting all ready for the day at his parents home!
We then headed downtown to Station Park Hotel to capture all of Kahla’s beautiful wedding details and her hanging out with her best friends!
As always I love when couples opt to do a first look and this one has to be one of my favourites, Josh found this amazing industrial space for their first look and all of their photos! I am now in LOVE with Design House London, it is one of the coolest places I have ever photographed and it fit so well with their day!
Before heading out to their venue I spotted this little ally way and just had to have some bride and groom portraits in the gorgeous light!
We then headed to Highland to capture some chilly images of the whole bridal party in the snow!
Of course this wouldn’t be a Michelle A Photography blog post without showcasing another ring shot!
We took some time to capture all of Kahla and Josh’s ceremony and reception details! The gold and greenery complimented the reception hall perfectly and who wouldn’t want to say I do bathed in candle light, it was so romantic!
Once the cocktail hour began we took some time to capture candid moments, which are always so important to tell the full story of the wedding day! One of my favourites is this one of Kahla dancing with her nephew and ring bearer while the DJ played some kid friendly music, such an adorable moment!
We snuck out just before their entrances to get some last minute portraits of these two and they ended up being some of their favourites from the day!
We left just as the party was getting started but not before finishing up with some fun bridal party entrances!
Congratulations Kahla and Josh! Your day was absolutely stunning and I am so honoured have have gotten to meet the two of you, your families and friends and of course capture such a lovely day in your lives together!
