It is time for another fall wedding to make it’s way onto the blog today and as always I am so excited to share! Fall of 2019 was hands down my busiest season last year with a wedding almost every weekend in September and October and today I am sharing my last September wedding of 2019. I first met Julie back in 2014 when I photographed her sister Kathryn’s wedding (which was also one of my first weddings when I got started in photography) so I was very excited when Julie reached out about her own wedding! We met up for a Starbucks date and we chatted all about her and Justin’s special day, we then met up again in the fall of 2018 to capture their engagement photos at Komoka Provincial Park that you can check out of the blog here!
September 28th rolled around and we made the drive out to Strathroy to capture bride and groom details, it was pouring rain during the beginning of the day but by the time their ceremony was over the rain had stopped and left us with some beautiful overcast weather to work with! Julie and Justin tied the knot at their church with a sweet ceremony before making the drive back into London to Plunkett Estate. Julie rented the property for all of their wedding party, family and bride and groom photos and let me tell you it was a dream!
Not only did we have the beautiful grounds to work with including ponds, a fountain and gorgeous stone steps but Julie also planned to have bright orange smoke bombs for some “wow” shots and it did not disappoint! We finished up photos and headed back to their wedding reception at the Portuguese Canadian Club in Strathroy, I loved all of the rustic style details with a hint of fall Julie and Justin put into their day! After some introductions and first dances we said our goodbyes and let the newly weds party the night away with all of their family and friends!
It was such an honour to meet Julie and Justin and be apart of such a beautiful day! I wish them so much happiness in their lives together and it was so much fun meeting all of their family and friends!
