Western Fair
Something super sweet is making it’s way onto the blog today and it also happens to be a bucket list photography item for me! Back when I first started photography I had a list of places and sessions I wanted to do and one of those things has always been a couples session at the Western Fair. Not only because I adore the Western Fair (and am super bummed that it has been cancelled this year) but also because of all the beautiful colours to work with! Colour is honestly one of my descriptive words when it comes to my photography style so capturing a couples session at the fair has always been a dream of mine!
To make this session even better, it was an anniversary session for my best friend and her husband!! Honestly I could not have asked for a better way to cross this off my photography bucket list. I met Kelsey and Greg back when we use to all work at Future Shop together (guys, remember Future Shop!) and Kelsey and I became fast friends. Since then we pretty much talk every day and I couldn’t even imagine my life without her, I also got to photograph their sweet winter wedding back in February of 2018 which you can check out on the blog here!
We made plans to head to the Western Fair together last September and along with photos it was also just a super fun hangout! We ate delicious deep fried junk food, pet some super cute farm animals and ate some more junk food. So everything that is amazing about the fair! I am super excited to share these photos today, they are some of my favourites and here is to heading out to the Western Fair when it arrives back hopefully in the fall of 2021!
